Since THE DARK KNIGHT just keeps on plugging at the box office, it seems that there is a mix of stragglers finally getting around to seeing it and people going back again and again for more. So with that in mind, I was curious to hear how many of you have seen THE DARK NIGHT again (and if so, how many times) and how the film held up on more viewings.

So far have just seen it once. Am thinking about seeing it again, but this time in IMAX. For those that have seen it this way, is it worth it?

Definitely, Linda B.! Both versions do work just fine on their own, but seeing parts of the film completely fill that massive IMAX screen (including the hospital explosion) gives it a little more extra oomph.

5 for me….one of them in IMAX. I honestly don’t think the IMAX made THAT big of a difference (certainly not worth driving an hour and half and sitting in line for hours.)

6 times, and honestly I’ll probably watch it a few more times until school starts.

4 times… It actually gets better with each viewing as there are so many nuances to the movie that you don’t spot the first time around

5 soon to be 6 one of which was IMAX. It’s jsut so gr8 i feel i have to keep seeing it and i always pick up on something new

I made it to 7 and finally decided I was through until the DVD comes out. 7 just seems like the perfect place to stop for some reason.
Anyone know the release date for the DVD?

i was there opening night waiting on line for the 12:01 IMAX at New Roc that was #1 last night i went to New Roc’s final IMAX showing making it my 8th time and probably my last until it comes back in theatres in January

Saw it for the second time this past weekend. I actually enjoyed it just as much or more than the first. There were a few little things that I didn’t catch the first time around.
