You Be the Critic: HELLBOY II and JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF THE EARTH

It’s that time again, folks, where I want to hear want to know what you guys thought about what you saw this weekend, whether it was HELLBOY II or the 3-D extravaganza that was JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF THE EARTH. The last few times I’ve done this comments were far and few between, so this time I want no excuses. It doesn’t matter if you’re a long time reader, or just passing through. I want tons of comments, even if it’s just something as simple as “It rocked/It sucked,” a basic grade/rating, or even the odd “This movie was as brilliant as you are Mr. TheREELaddict.”

I wanted to see Hellboy 2 this weekend, but since i’ve never seen a 3D film at the theatre before, I chose to see Journey to the Center of the Earth.
It was awesome! I usually sit way in the back, but for the 3D experience chose to sit in the first section of seats that no one really sits in unless the movie is sold out. I highly recommend doing this for this film. All that’s in your vision is the screen and the effects look great this way. The storyline was okay, and if you think about it, this is probably a movie for kids, but i had a great time. I literally jumped several times. It was so cool.
